Schedule a Pick Up
Whether you’re shopping or donating, you’re giving back!
The Society depends on donated goods to help us serve the needy. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to cover the cost of repairs; consequently, we must reserve the right to refuse any item that does not meet our standards.
Everyday our trucks hit the road, traveling throughout Long Island to pick up donations from generous supporters. Your unused items could be donated to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and ultimately used to help someone in need. We help you turn your used furniture, clothing, and household items into instruments of hope.
Once we collect your used goods, they are either given away to people in need or sold at an affordable price at our thrift stores. The proceeds from our stores help maintain the year-round programs and services we offer to Long Islanders in need.
Often times during home visits, Vincentians discover that the family does not have furniture to sit on, they do not have a kitchen table to eat on, or beds for their children to sleep in. In these cases, a voucher is provided to the family which they can redeem for specific goods at our stores.
